The Movable Walls division is the newest and fifth strategic business unit to be incorporated in the DORMA Group. Having acquired the subgroup Hüppe Form Raumtrennsysteme, DORMA has leapt into the European number one position in the operable partitions segment. At the same time and with a view to further strengthening the division on a worldwide basis, DORMA acquired Modernfold Inc. headquartered in New Castle, Indiana (USA), the number two on the American market with sales of approx. EUR 50 million and approx. 340 employees. With both companies now under its wing, DORMA is the absolute number one in the world movable walls market.
