Plenty of light, plenty of transparency, plenty of space. The "Raiffeisen" cooperative bank in Ahrensburg near Hamburg offers - a particularly inviting spatial layout.
The three-storey new build with red brick façade was constructed with an investment outlay of four million euro. Having relocated its main offices to the castle town of Ahrensburg, the Raiffeisenbank has also further augmented its customer focus and service commitment.
In cooperation with DORMA Hüppe, the project architects were able to translate the ethos and image of the cooperative bank into an expressive design of palpable quality with the priority very much on customer friendliness and convenience. DORMA Hüppe supplied a range of complete partition system solutions utterly in keeping with the notion that transparency creates confidence. The portal is symmetrically embedded in the front elevation of the bank building. The transparent curved sliding door from DORMA guides the customers via an elegant 3D effect into the self-service area. Here, thanks to the translucent automatic Varitrans EM glass partition there awaits a soothing atmosphere with a flowing transition between the external and internal spheres.
Arranged in a gentle curve, the glass elements of the Metalline series have no profile framing. Metalline exclusively uses flush-mounted singlepoint fixings of stainless steel for its location and guidance functions, with the rear face of the fitting appearing as a smooth surface. With this modern design, very much in keeping with contemporary trends, there are virtually no limits to the range of applications and the variation possibilities offered by the Metalline series. All Varitrans glass panels installed in the Raiffeisenbank operate automatically offering totally reliable functionality combined with maximum convenience. And in order to prevent unauthorised opening, they also feature integrated unlocking protection. DORMA keeps the way clear so that today and in the future its clients can look forward to an unimpeded flow of customers.
