The name Blohm + Voss has stood for quality in ship construction and marine and mechanical engineering for 125 years.
Blohm + Voss GmbH, a subsidiary of Thyssen-Krupp Shipyards in Hamburg, is today a highly specialised industrial company, the activities of which are divided between three divisions: Navy Ships, Ferries and Freight Shipping, and Mega-Yachts.

In the 1970s, the yard made a name for itself with new high-tech concepts for the construction of navy vessels. From the middle of the 1980s, mega-yachts were also introduced into its portfolio.
Major orders such as the luxury yacht My Lady Moura with a length of 105 m generated worldwide interest owing to their futuristic design and sophisticated equipment.
With a distinctly cosmopolitan approach in serving its worldwide market, Blohm + Voss has successfully pursued and promoted the development of fast and cost-efficient passenger ships. And it continues to implement its innovative corporate philosophy with an unremitting stream of creative ideas.

Büroreform GmbH of Hamburg designed a symmetrical conference room of quite unique elegance. In so doing, they integrated the Varitrans Compactline fully automatic sliding glass partition as a functional element of the purest design quality.
The prestigious, satinised glass panels open automatically to reveal a projection screen.
