Westerstede.- DORMA Hüppe is stepping up its activities in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland in cooperation with Swedish manufacturer Winab. Headquartered in Ekerö near Stockholm, Winab will be marketing the movable walls from Westerstede across the Scandinavian market with immediate effect. The two companies see the collaboration generating further growth, with both benefiting.
Winab has long enjoyed an excellent reputation for the manufacture of folding partitions and partition walls of various materials. Glass partitions likewise feature in the Swedish supplier’s portfolio. Winab will continue to manufacture, market and sell products under its own brand name. Founded over 40 years ago as a family-owned company, Winab was bought up by Indutrade AB in October 2014.
Already today, DORMA Hüppe can boast a successful track record as a global supplier of smart partition solutions facilitating flexible space utilization. With its innovative movable wall systems, the company is able to offer customers around the world ideal solutions for efficient and sophisticated space management, be it for a small conference room or a large exhibition hall. Through this collaboration with Winab, DORMA Hüppe hopes to further increase its market presence and penetration in Scandinavia, particularly in the area of high-end applications.
“The products of the two companies are a perfect match with, in particular, no displacement by one of the other. For DORMA Hüppe and Winab, therefore, we really can talk about a win-win situation,” says Christoph Jacob, COO for the Movable Walls segment of the dormakaba Group.
