We promote sustainable development along our entire value chain and never lose sight of our economic, ecological and social responsibility towards future generations.
Observing local laws and internal company rules and respecting human rights are a matter of course for us, and we ensure transparency in all processes when it comes to compliance with environmental regulations. We are happy to provide declarations relating to this.
As part of the dormakaba Group, Dorma Hüppe seeks to engage in dialogue on an open and transparent basis. In light of this, dormakaba publishes an annual Sustainability Report for its stakeholders – employees, investors, customers, suppliers and municipalities where the company is active – which looks at commitment, strategic approach and advances in the area of sustainability.
The Annual Report is prepared in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative guidelines (G4 Core).
International certification systems such as DGNB, LEED and BREEAM make sustainability in construction transparent and measurable. Life cycle assessments of building products providing information on the entire product life cycle are required in order to assess and certify buildings.
This is performed as part of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), which provide comparable information on resource consumption and other life cycle assessment-based indicators for products.
EPDs in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804 are available for all Dorma Hüppe horizontal partition systems.
